Welcome to West End Primary School
We are a one form entry primary school on the outskirts of Oswaldtwistle and have been providing a high standard of education for over 100 years.
West End is a successful school that celebrated its' Centenary Year in 2014. The school is a blend of old Victorian buildings and more modern developments. We are situated on the outskirts of Oswaldtwistle and the views from the classrooms are stunning. You can find out more about our history by clicking here.
In March 2022 we became an Academy and we became a founding school of the LET Education Trust.
School Admissions 2024
Our school holds an open day for prospective parents in November. On this day parents are welcome to visit the school at any point during the school day (except during lunctime!).
Our wonderful Year 6 children will give parents a guided tour of the school and the opportunity to find out what life at West End is all about.
I will be on hand during the day and can answer an questions that you may have about our provision or the application process.
The date for the Open Day is TUESDAY 7th NOVEMBER
Visits are welcome from 9:15am to 3pm.
We will be preparing our school during this half term making sure our classrooms look their best. We understand that parents may not be able to make this date due to working commitments. If you cannot make this date then please get in touch after the 7th November to book a visit.
