Teaching Assistant Vacancy
West End Primary School is looking to recruit a committed, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our team of teaching assistants. The position will be for 28.75 hrs per week and will be paid at either Grade 5 (£19,698-£21,748) or Grade 6 (£21,748-£25,481) (pro rata, term time only) depending upon experience and qualifications.
The position is offered on a temporary basis initially, with a contract until August 2022. Subject to future budgetary and staffing reviews this contract may be extended beyond this period. We would like the successful candidate to start in January however this will be discussed upon offer of employment.
Due to the time scales involved we intend to shortlist and interview candidates prior to the Christmas holidays. With this in mind the closing date for applications is WEDNESDAY 8th DECEMBER (1pm).
